Maddur Vada


  • Rice flour – 1 bowl
  • Gram flour – 1 bowl
  • baking flour – 1 1/2 bowl
  • Semolina or Rava – 1/2 bowl
  • Chopped Onion – 1
  • Cooking oil – 1 litre
  • Ghee – 4 teaspoons
  • Chilli – 5 to 6 (chopped)
  • Salt – As per the taste

How to prepare:

Take a mixing bowl. Add rice flour, gram flour, baking flour, rava, chopped onion, chopped chilli and salt. Mix it thoroughly using hand. Now add the ghee and mix it once again. Take a small lump of mixture and make a paper cutlet shape. In another vessel, add oil and allow it to heat for 5 minutes. After heating of oil, place the mixture which you made a shape of paper cutlet in it and deeply fry it, till the color changes to golden brown.

Now your spicy Maddur vada is ready….
